TAKOYAKI

TAKO is Japanese for OCTOPUS. Add the condiments and octopus to the flour dough and bake it into a round shape with a diameter of 3 to 5 cm. It's a Soul Food in Osaka, and it's so popular that you walk eating it freshly baked . Sometimes you have a home party buying Takoyaki-cooking machine.

STEPS

  1. Mix flour and water so that they do not get lumpy.
    【Point】If add water in two portions, it will spread quickly and evenly!
  2. Add eggs and mix further.
  3. Add oil to a heated hot plate.
  4. Pour the dough into the hole until its eight-tenth.
  5. Put octopus.
    Put green onion and pickled ginger.
  6. Pour the dough over again.
  7. When the overflowing dough has hardened, collect it in a hole and bake while rolling until it becomes golden brown.
    【Point】You can enjoy the crispy texture of fried Takoyaki by sprinkling a little oil on it to finish it!
  8. When the surroundings become crispy and golden brown, sprinkle Takoyaki sauce and green laver.
    OK to sprinkle dried bonito flakes as you like.
